Ideal for once a week dosing or as a chlorine boost for salt pools. Used to control algae and bacteria while increasing the longevity of chlorine. Can be used in conjunction with algaecide for long lasting protection with minimal effort through winter and is also suitable for use as part of a regular maintenance program.

Due to the inclusion of sodium tetraborate pentahydrate, the tablet will seem to dissolve rapidly. However, this effect is due to the borates, which create a honeycomb-like appearance while the tablet remains actively effective.

Directions for use: 

Key Steps:

1. The dosage rates are only a guide to achieve the required levels of free chlorine
2. Do not exceed a concentration of 100ppm of isocyanate
3. Do not add this product directly into the swimming pool
4. Use a floating dispenser or automated chlorinator
5. The correct level of free chlorine should be maintained for serval hours prior to and during swimming activity
6. Chlorine levels and pH should be tested daily
7. If pH falls below the required level add Hy-Clor’s alkalinity increaser
8. If it pH rises above add pH decreaser or liquid pool acid
9. Dose the pool in the evening when the pool is not in use
10. Stabiliser levels must be tested fortnightly
11. Once stabiliser levels reach 100mg/L do not use this product until stabiliser levels fall below that level
12. If 100mg/L of stabiliser is exceeded, the ability of the chlorine to control algae and bacteria is reduced
13. Under no circumstances should stabiliser concentrations be allowed to exceed 100mg/L
