Starves algae of the nutrients it requires to grow. Removal of phosphates improves filtration, reduces chlorine consumption and creates an environment where algae struggles to survive.

High levels of phosphate in your pool water puts your pool at heightened risk of algal bloom. Ideally used as part of a regular preventative maintenance programme to prevent algae and help reduce chlorine use.

Key Steps:

1. Backwash filter
2. Pour phosphate remover into the skimmer then treat with water clarifier
3. Run your filter system continuously for at least 24 hours
4. After 48 hours backwash filter
5. Level with phosphate test kit
6. Note: It is normal for phosphate remover to cause pool cloudiness initially
7. Weekly: Use dosage for 0.2ppm of phosphates to maintain phosphate level below 0.125ppm
