1. Before dosing the pool or spa it is recommended that the filtration system be properly cleaned and backwashed
2. Brominating tablets may be used in various automatic feed dispensers or placed in a refillable plastic dispenser for use in the skimmer box or as a floater
3. Do not use pool stabiliser (cyanuric acid) with bromine stabilisers
4. pH should be tested daily
5. If it falls below the required level add pH increaser
6. If it rises above the required level add pH decreaser
7. Bromine levels should be tested daily
8. Dosage rates indicated are only a guide as the rate of dissolving is affected by water temp, flow rate, bather load and other environmental conditions – it is recommended to start with 4 – 6 tablets
9. The correct level of free bromine should be maintained for several hours prior to and during pool or spa activity
10. To increase bromine levels, operate the pump longer or add more tablets
11. It is recommended after using spa to always run filter and pump for 1 – 2 hours
12. Pool and spa should be super chlorinated weekly
13. It is recommended that 10% of spa water be drained each week and topped up
